| I'm posting this to get some feedback from you guys before I post it on Pawn, so feel free to comment on any part that could be improved.- Spoiler:
1. Are you an active member of the Pawn Community, both on the game(s) and the forums? Yes. I try to be on for as long as I can on PT, forums, and IRC. I am also occasionally on PG. This usually adds up to at least 4-5 hours a day.
2. Why do you want to be a Pawn Assistant? (Try to be original) There are several reasons as to why I want to be a Pawn Assistant: -To use my abilities to further help the Pawn community. -Seeing as many of my friends have recently become Pawn Assistants, I would like to join them in sharing this honor. -I think that I am ready to handle more responsibility than just being a Clan Manager.
3. What have you done that qualifies you to be a Pawn Assistant? Well, I’ve been a part of this community for nearly 2 years now, so I have considerable experience as to which questions users might have regarding the games, forum, or other things. I also help new users in-game, and I do a bit of in-game reporting too.
4. What gave you the urge to fill out this form? Since recently a whole much of Pawn Assistants got modded, I am aware that the Usergroup is understaffed. I feel like this is the time for me to step up and shoulder some more responsibility, and to do more the help this wonderful community.
5. Will you uphold your obligation to set a good example at all times? I will indeed. It is every users’ job to show others how to be a good user, and being in a Usergroup is attaining a higher status, so many users will naturally be looking up to us. Being a bad example would encourage them to follow in our footsteps, so they would also start behaving badly. It is important that we maintain a good example to lead the other users, and to uphold the good image of this community. I believe that I am capable of doing this.
6. What do you believe you can contribute to the Pawn Assistant Usergroup & Pawn Community that nobody else can? There isn’t much that sets me aside from other people, but one thing that I am capable of is patience. I generally try and think things through before doing them, instead of rushing in and facing the consequences afterwards. This usually allows for me to avoid doing rash things, and seeing things that other people might not.
7. What are some examples of any helpful abilities? There are many things that I am able to do that can help others: -I have decent leadership. Although I prefer not to lead, I am able to do so if duty calls. -I am responsible. I can always get stuff done if it needed. -I am active enough to be on to help others at a variety of times. -I am not too lazy to look up things if a user needs help, or direct them to someone who has more knowledge than me in that field.
8. Do you understand what your duty as a Pawn Assistant entails? Yes. The job of a Pawn Assistant is to give help and advice to others when they need it, whether they be friend or foe. Pawn Assistants are also required to moderate the help section to ensure that accurate posts and replies are made so that users can get the highest quality help. Pawn Assistants must also uphold a good example at all times.
9. Do you submit yourself to this user group and all its rules, understanding that breaking said rules will result in being banned for an undetermined amount of time? Yes, I do.
Thanks for reading my application.
